FMS FormMaker. Building an Anoto form application could not be simpler! Import your PDF form into the application, use drag-and-drop tool to activate pre-defined handwriting recognition rules, enter the number of copies and click the Anoto enable button... Within seconds, you'll get all is needed to use paper forms as a user-friendly input device to any business applications:
- Patterned paper forms exiting from any compatible colour laser printer;
- Display background image and form definition files (Anoto PAD) needed by any application developed to process the handwritten data captured with a digital pen (e.g. FormProcessor).
FormMaker provides graphical tools to easily set the properties of the form (location and name of the data entry fields, handwriting recognition settings, database binding, etc.). Upon completion of pattern imposition, the form definition is automatically published to FormProcessor.
For seamless interaction with existing data processing workflows, FormMaker offers an advanced pre-filling feature that allows for the customization of each copy of the form with dynamic data, at print time. Captured data can be automatically linked back to original record source at FormProcessor level.
FMS FormRouter. Based on Covelus routing technology, the application receives the digital pen strokes (PGC files) that represent the handwritten data and sends them to a service application such as FormProcessor.
In order to ensure total connectivity between digital pens and service application, FormRouter can be deployed on a large variety of devices: PC, Mac, PDA, mobile phones...
Since routing information may vary depending on which form is used with a given digital pen, FormRouter settings are remotely updated on-demand by a configuration application hosted on a Web server. Once installed, FormRouter runs in the background and requires no input from the pen user.
FMS FormProcessor. A ready-to-use service application that supports both copied and unique Anoto pattern, FormProcessor converts the handwritten data received from FormRouter into digital information. The output data is stored in a secured repository and can be retrieved in various formats by any third-party application through FormProcessor APIs calls.
FormProcessor implements MyScript® natural handwriting recognition technology in order to reliably transform the handwritten input into XML data. To this end, FormProcessor uses the recognition rules (a.k.a. data formats) associated to the fields during configuration of the form with FormMaker.
FMS FormViewer. With its user-friendly interface, FormViewer allows for an efficient review of handwriting recognition results before data export to back-end system.
Built around FormProcessor API, the application can display in parallel both handwritten and interpreted data, thus making it easy to verify and validate the handwriting recognition results.
Back-end connectivity is achieved through custom connectors, which can be easily set up by third-party developers.
